road from our property.
Garden of the Gods is 7 miles away,
Cave-in-Rock is 12 miles away,

Trail is 1/3 mile, designated Shawnee National Forest trail 101 is
directly behind our place and
Bell Smith Springs is about 30 minutes away.
Glen O Jones Lake (Saline County Wildlife area) has four trails
totaling about 9 miles. All the Illinois hiking
you want is right here. |
Hike right off
our place. River to River Trail is 1/3 away with a connecting trail
from the cabins. |

ATV Info while the Shawnee Forest does not allow atv's
nor do we do on our property click atv info for a great facility called
Williamson Hill ATV very nearby that will allow atv's or dirt bikes. |
Several of the Tunnel Hill trailheads are less than 30 minutes away. We are
excited to report a bike trail is currently being built from Glen O Jones
Lake to Equality. (Less than 20 miles away) Eventually, this trail will tie
into the Tunnel Hill Trail. Tunnel Hill is currently being expanded
from Harrisburg to ElDorado. Awesome!!! |
