798 Karbers Ridege Rd (new address as of 2017). We are 3 miles east of Karber's Ridge Illinois on Karber's Ridge Rd (which turns into Pounds Hollow Rd just east of our property). PLEASE watch for Deer on the roads particularly on Karber's Ridge/Pounds Hollow road and particularly from dusk until dawn.

One of the only bad things about of being in the middle of nowhere is there is not anywhere close to stock up on grocery items. There is a small market about 8 miles away (Harbison's at intersection of Karber's Ridge Rd and Hwy 34) and even smaller market 5 miles away (Garden of the Gods Outpost) but the closest "full" grocery store is in Harrisburg or Eldorado (20-25 mins away)

DIRECTIONS FROM NORTH OR NORTHWEST (Chicago, St Louis, Champaign, Springfield IL, etc...)
Quickest from Mount Vernon Illinois; 64 East to exit 89 (Belle Rive), make a right and go 3 miles to stop sign and make a left onto Hwy 142. Follow signs for 142 south through McLeansboro and Eldorado (last chance for food/gas/liquor/restaurants). 5.7 miles passed Eldorado make a left at stop sign onto Hwy 13. Go 4 miles and make a right onto Hwy 1. Go 8.7 miles to right on Pounds Hollow Rd, we are 3 miles up on the left just passed Rim Rock Recreation area sign.

If you want to hit a larger store (Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, Rural King etc...) or have a larger choice of restaurants... from Mount Vernon; take 57 south to left on Hwy 13 at Marion Illinois. Take 13 east through Harrisburg to right on Hwy 1, go 8.7 miles to right on Pounds Hollow Rd, we are 3 miles up on the left just passed Rim Rock Recreation area sign.
DIRECTIONS FROM EAST OR NORTHEAST (Louisville, Indiana, etc....)
64 WEST to exit 130 onto Hwy 1 south, make a right and go 50 miles to right on Pounds Hollow Rd, we are 3 miles up on the left just passed Rim Rock Recreation area sign.
DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH OR SOUTHEAST taking the Ferry (Ferry runs from 6 a.m. leaving the Illinois side until 9:50 p.m. leaving from the Kentucky side)
24 WEST to exit 45 and turn left onto KY hwy 293, go .4 miles to right on KY Hwy 93, go 2.4 miles to right onto Hwy 3305, go 10 miles to left onto 641, go 9.5 miles to left on KY Hwy 91, take the ferry across to Cave-In-Rock, go 10 miles north on Hwy 1 to left on Pounds Hollow Rd and we are 3 miles up on the left 200 yards passed the Rim Rock Recreation Area sign

DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH OR SOUTHEAST bypassing Ferry (Ferry runs from 6 a.m. leaving the Illinois side until 9:50 p.m. leaving from the Kentucky side)
24 WEST to Illinois and take exit 37 and turn right onto US 45, go 1/4 mile and turn left onto 145 North, go 15 miles and make a right onto 146 East, go 20 miles to left on IL 34 N, go 7.5 miles and make a right onto Karber's Ridge Rd and we are 8.1 miles on the right side of the road

DIRECTIONS FROM WEST and SOUTHWEST (Memphis, Arkansas, etc...)
From Hwy 57 and Hwy 146, take Hwy 146 east 16 miles and turn left onto Hwy 147 east, go 13 miles to left onto 145 North, 16 miles to Hwy 34 South, 9.4 miles to left on Karbers Ridge Rd and we are 8.1 miles on the right side of the road
