We are open. Giving people a safe place to get away from things and enjoy the outdoors is certainly essential to the mental and physical health of lot of people. We fully understand some people’s concerns about traveling right now, everyone’s circumstances are different, but traveling can certainly be done safely; use hand-sanitizer before and after getting gas or going into stores, create social distance when standing in lines or shopping, cover your coughs and sneezes (not with your hand!). Do your part! Please!
We have improved our cleaning processes and products to deal with the current situation. Tara has over a decade of experience working in hospital Quality and Infection Prevention.
We are also offering 10% off of any reservations (made before April 15th) for any stay in 2020.
Good evening. We will be staying at the Bear’s Den this weekend. We know that most of the cookware is provided but was curious if there is a crockpot in the cabin? Also do any of the nearby lakes allow for stand up paddle boarding? Thank you in advance. We are looking forward to our mini vacation!
The Observation Trail THE main attraction of the area. Extremely photogenic and easily accessible for everyone (wheelchairs should go clockwise around loop). You can be on the rocks in less than 15 minutes from our property. Worthy of multiple trips during same visit and looks amazingly different in sunny or cloudy skies, morning and evening and in every season. Can get close up to the bizarre bands and rock formations the area is known for.
